The Devold Expedition JR long johns insulate exceptionally well and have been used on several polar expeditions.
The Devold Expedition Long Johns Junior is a double-layer woollen base layer built for extreme conditions, field-tested across multiple polar expeditions. The inner layer is 100% soft merino wool, while the outer layer combines 90% aquaduct-treated merino wool with 10% polyamide.The aquaduct treatment in the outer layer increases moisture absorption from the body and pulls it away quickly, allowing it to evaporate and keeping you dry. The 10% polyamide reinforces durability, so the garment holds up on the toughest expeditions.With very high insulation capacity and exceptional moisture-transport properties, the Expedition long johns are the answer to the coldest days out there, polar explorer or not.
